i found the gym had good equipment. it featured treadmills and stationary bikes. the spa's pool area included about twenty loungers (which were quite comfortable).

we booked afternoon tea for august 2024 and it was good. as a vegetarian who favors gluten-free bread, i found a good selection of cakes and sandwiches. i prefer savory, but the variety was nice. there were so many teas and coffee options. the staff were genuinely helpful at the restaurant, bar, and reception.

i noticed the driveway had potholes upon arrival which was disappointing. the room seemed a little tired with stains on the carpet. this wasn't a huge problem since they allow pets, but it's something i spotted.
